In a field of 120 runner Lily placed 50th with a time of 24.43. This is the toughest course we will see this year. She is working hard to see it again at state.



The Bulldogs were victorious 58-6 on the road at MDCV, which ended at halftime.
The Bulldogs led 34-0 after the 1st qtr, and outscored the Trojans 24-6 in the 2nd qtr.

Cross Country runner Lily Hudson will travel to Wamego tomorrow to compete. She will be racing in the largest race of her career against 1, 2, and 3A schools on a very tough course. Races begin at 9am and her race will tentatively start at 10:30. Good luck to all the runners tomorrow!

Lady Bulldog Volleyball plays at Eureka Saturday morning 9/9.  First game starts at 9am .  There will be a 20 minute lunch break after everyone has completed the 3rd game. 


Another great meet for the Madison XC team with 3 of our 4 runners bringing home medals. Two runners broke their personal best last evening. Miranda Houston placed 4th with a time of 30:25  and moved up a spot on our record board. Reece Winder also broke his personal best placing 9th with a time of 14:35 and is only 7 seconds away from taking the top spot for best JH 2 mile time. New runner Liam O’Brien placed 9th with a time of 23:31, great way to start his running career. Braxton Perry placed 27th with a time of 21:29.








Exciting times for the MHS Bulldog Football family coming up. Some upcoming events:
1) Pride Run tonight at 5:45 downtown. Come get the rundown on last week's victory over Hartford, plus a preview of our 1st road contest coming up at MDCV.
2) Good luck to the Junior High Dogs in their home opener tonight vs. Waverly at 6:30 at McClain Field.
3) Tomorrow, the Dogs go on the road to MDCV. Game time 7:00 PM. Here is some information about the game at MDCV.



Madison’s JH and JV Cross Country runners will head to Melvern Lake September 7th for the Lyndon meet. Races begin at 4pm.

Madison High School's Corbin B. has been nominated for Artsonia's Artist of the Week.

The Bulldogs upward trajectory was evident early against Hartford. 14-0 after the 1st qtr, the Bulldogs scored 32 unanswered in the 2nd qtr to come out victorious in week 1.

At the Wildcat XC meet yesterday, two Bullldogs brought home medals. Lily Hudson and Reece Winder battled it out at the finish line to place 10th, good enough for some hardware. It was a hot day, but all our runners had an excellent first race to begin the season.

MHS Bulldog Football Pride Run 2023 info:
The 1st Pride Run of the year will be this Thursday, at 5:45 PM, in downtown Madison. We look forward to seeing everyone, as we kick off the 2023 season at home this Friday, 7 PM at McClain Field vs. Hartford. 
Come meet and greet the 2023 Bulldogs on Thursday, 8/31. We look forward to representing the community on the gridiron this fall.
