The 2022 MHS Trap Shooting Team would like to extend an invite to any interesting incoming Freshman, to their last trap shoot, Thursday, May 19th @ the Madison Gun club from 4 to 6 pm.

The Lyon County League Junior High meet scheduled for Thursday, May 5th has been moved to Friday, May 6th at 10:30 am.

Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson and KSDE Board member Jim Porter visited USD 386 Friday, April 22nd. During their visit, senior Marlea Harlan was awarded as a Kansas CTE Scholar for her knowledge, skill, and experience in career and technical education. Marlea’s CTE focus is Comprehensive Agriculture Science. This prestigious award is only awarded to approximately 100 students statewide. Congratulations, Marlea!
Dr. Watson also toured Bulldog Ink, the high school, Outdoor Learning Center, and elementary.

Today is the last day for parents and family to purchase tickets for the HS Athletic/Academic Banquet, Monday, April 25. The $14 tickets can be purchased in the MHS office or from a local Lions Club member.

Plant pick up will take place in the high school new gym today from 2:30-3:30.

The 5-8th grade music concert has been moved to Wednesday, April 27 @ 6:30.

2022 Lions Club Academic and Athletic Banquet is April 25th @ 6:30- Sign up sheets in the office for students and staff. Parents and family wanting to attend may purchase a ticket in the MHS office or from a local Lions Club member. Tickets are $14.00 and must be purchased by April 20th.

Madison High School SAFE team hosted the ThinkFast Interactive experience today. The program focuses on teen traffic safety.


Based on CDC recommendations, effective today, students will no longer be required to wear masks or face coverings while riding in any form of school transportation.
