Madison's Spring Golf Schedule has been finalized.

Information about the boys' substate game on Thursday, 2/22, and the girls' substate game on Friday, 2/23: NO passes will be accepted. The cost of attendance will be $6 for students and $8 for adults each night. The games will begin at 7 pm.
MHS art student attended the FHTC Wrangler Rally today for the arts programs. They learned about the Graphic Design, Culinary Arts, and Multi Media Design programs. They participated in hands on mini lessons in each area. Sadie Davis, Alexia Aguirre, Emma Fankhauser, Olive Celte, and Corbin Baldridge.
Lane, Jack, and Drake enjoyed Industry Day at FHTC.
On Friday, February 9th, all USD 386 students and staff participated in a family day event that focused on filling your emotional bucket. The students created valentines to show their appreciation to these people.
Families are K-12 groups that focus on mentorship and creating relationships.

The MHS JR/SR classes took an educational field trip to the National WW1 Memorial and Museum in KCMO on 02/08/24. Students had the opportunity to learn first hand about many topics about the war, as well as visit the top of Liberty Memorial Tower, which offered a great view of the entire Union Station area and the surrounding KC metro and beyond. We concluded our trip with a stop at Crown Center near Union Station for lunch. The kids were excellent representatives of the Madison school and community during our visit to the city.
Some highlights of the trip:
Topics students learned or enhanced their learning of: a timeline of events from the outbreak and causes of the war, weapons, artifacts, and technology implemented, what brought the U.S. into the war, trench warfare, wartime propaganda posters (from all sides of the war), the air/sea/land warfare, and an amazing uniform exhibit. And many, many more topics.

JV Girls will play half a game in the new gym at 5:00 PM.
JV Boys will play a full game in the main gym at 5:00 PM, followed by varsity girls.
The Madison Masonic Lodge and Class of 2024 are joining together to host a Potato soup and chili fundraiser. Please make plans to join us at the Sauder center on Sunday, February 18 from 5-7 pm.
Congratulations to all Greenwood County Spelling Bee participants! Madison students Jorja Beeman, Lily Kingery, Ben Thompson, and Olivia Adams all tied for 4th, and Molly Hurlburt, Huxley Berlinger, and Gracelynn Stock tied for 8th.
School nurses Julie Buster and Deb Thornton taught a CPR class for all seniors yesterday who were not already CPR-certified.
