Summer Meals Continue!
Tomorrow, Monday June 29th, begins our Grab ’N Go meal pickup at MJHHS!
Each Monday, swing by MJHHS between 10:00–11:00 a.m. to pick up three days’ worth of Grab ’N Go breakfasts and lunches. Then, come back each Thursday to pick up two more days’ worth of meals.
The USD 386 Summer Food Service Program is available to all children ages 1–18.

A massive congratulations to Madison High School’s very own Sadie Davis for being named a Kansas Business Hall of Fame essay recipient! Sadie is 1 of only 5 students selected statewide in Kansas for this prestigious honor.
Along with this well-deserved recognition, Sadie has been awarded a $500 scholarship for her outstanding essay.

Today we are celebrating the two women who take such amazing care of our students and staff, Nurse Julie and Nurse Deb!
From bandaging bumps, handing out ice packs and calming nerves to sharing laughs and brightening our days, they do it all with kindness, compassion, and a whole lot of heart.
We are so grateful for all that they do to keep our Bulldog family healthy and smiling.

Any time we step into classrooms, it’s a highlight. We see students discussing challenging ideas, creating imaginative presentations, and making meaningful connections in their learning. Those moments don’t happen by accident- our teachers put in the time and effort, much of it behind the scenes, to make them possible.
We’re grateful for the steady presence our teachers are for our students and for the way they keep showing up, no matter what the day brings.

Big news! Three of our amazing students have been awarded the prestigious Hagan Scholarship! Known for its focus on "helping students graduate debt-free," this scholarship recognizes those who excel academically and demonstrate a strong work ethic. In addition to tuition support, these students will receive personal brokerage accounts and travel opportunities to prepare them for life after college. Congratulations to our 2026 Hagan Scholars: Sadie, Reese, and Bayleigh!
Senior Emma Fankhauser capped off an impressive high school forensics career today, leaving it all on the stage at the McPherson 1A State Championship. Emma's sharp wit and quick thinking earned her a spot as a State Semi-finalist in the Impromptu Speech category—a fitting finale for a dedicated competitor.
Emma wasn't alone in her quest for excellence. A talented squad represented the school with pride, competing across both Improvised Duet Acting (IDA)and Impromptu:

Whether they were crafting hilarious scenes on the fly or tackling complex prompts with seconds to prepare, these students showed incredible poise under the bright lights of state competition.

While we loved seeing so many winners today, our final surveys showed a district-wide seatbelt usage rate of 76.14%. This is a dip from previous years, and we know we can do better together.
Wearing a seatbelt is the simplest and most effective way to protect yourself and your passengers. It’s more than just a rule—it’s a choice that saves lives every single day. Let’s finish the year strong and make sure everyone buckles up, every trip, every time.
