Family: My husband, J.R. and I have been married since 2000. We have two sons - Cooper and Peyton. Cooper is twice exceptional - Autistic and gifted - and enjoys spending time with family, cooking and baking, eating (what teenager doesn't love to eat), building things, playing games, reading as many books as possible, and caring for his cat. Peyton loves to play soccer and baseball, is involved in 4H shooting sports, wants to have as many pets in our house as he can, enjoys building with LEGOs, and likes being around people all of the time.

We have three dogs (a black lab, German short-hair, and French bulldog), a huge, lazy black cat, and an African fat-tailed gecko. My husband swears we are trying to start a zoo! My brothers, nieces and nephews, and parents all live in the Kansas City area.

Hobbies: I play handbells with my church handbell choir (if you'd like to attend a concert or hear us play at church, I'd be happy to share dates with you). I love to craft and bake, but with two boys, I find that hard right now. I also enjoy reading - especially young adult and historical fiction. I recently began gravel riding and have enjoyed getting to know different people through this activity.
