Quentin Takes 4th at FSCC Aggie Day

Two Madison Livestock Judging teams competed at Aggie Days at Fort Scott Community College on Friday, April 5.  FSCC's Aggie Day competition is one of the largest and the longest running agricultural competitions in the area. More than 1400 students competed, representing over 100 high schools from the area. Students competed in Livestock, Meat, Dairy Foods, Poultry, Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, Entomology, Speech, Farm Management, Agronomy, and Food Science.

Madison's Senior Team competed in the Senior Livestock Questions class and the Intermediate Team competed in the Intermediate Livestock Reasons class. Livestock judging consisted of 8 classes: Limousin Heifers, Market Lambs, Breeding Ewes, Breeding Does, Maine Anjou Heifers, Market Hogs, Breeding Gilts and Performance Maine Bulls. 

The Senior team placed 8th overall out of 33 teams.  Individually, Quentin placed 4th out of 103 contestants!
