The Website team sat down with Pvt. Serrer to talk about his experience in Basic Training.

Website Team:  "Where were you for basic training?"
Pvt. Serrer:  " For Basic Training I went to Fort Jackson in South Carolina."

Website Team: " What was the hardest part?"
Pvt. Serrer:  "The hardest part about basic would be being away from my friends and family, with the only communication being by mail."

Website Team:  "What do you feel is the most important thing that you will take away from this experience?"
Pvt. Serrer:  "The most important thing I will take from the experience is the 7 Army Values.  The 7 Army Values are: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.  They help me out a lot and make me better as a person."

Website Team:  "What are your plans for after high school graduation?"
Pvt. Serrer:  "I plan on going to college to become an athletic trainer.  Then, once I'm out of college I want to go on Army active duty."

Website Team:  "Anything else that you would like to share about your experience?"
Pvt. Serrer:  "I enjoyed it a lot and would like to thank everyone that supported me throughout it."

Thanks so much Pvt. Serrer and we are very proud of you!!
