Cyber-bullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Examples of cyber-bullying include mean text messages or emails, rumors sent by email or posted on social networking sites, and embarrassing pictures, videos, websites, or fake profiles.
When cyber-bullying happens, it is important to document and report the behavior so it can be addressed.
If you read something mean about someone on the Internet (cyber bullying), write something nice on the target’s wall or let the cyber bullies know it’s not cool to make fun of people online, or you can even report it anonymously and many service providers will remove the post.
If you see something, say something.
Speak up and report bullying to a trusted adult.
